Whether your teen is a budding artist or simply looking to try something new, this program is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, make new friends, and discover the endless possibilities of DIY and mix media art. Join us and watch creativity soar! Sewing 101-Learn the basics of hand and machine sewing while creating simple, useful projects. Students will explore stitches, patterns, and techniques that build confidence and creativity in textile arts. Floral Design Workshop-Discover the art of arranging fresh blooms into stunning displays. Participants will learn how to select, balance, and style flowers for centerpieces, bouquets, and home décor. Textured Art-Experiment with mixed media and layering techniques to create artwork that’s rich in depth and touch. This class blends paint, fabric, and other materials to produce one-of-a-kind textured canvases. Tufting the Rug-Step into the world of textile design by tufting your own mini rug or wall hanging. Students will use tufting tools, yarns, and color play to bring their unique designs to life. Paint Pouring-Create vibrant, abstract artwork using acrylic paint pouring techniques. Students will explore color mixing, fluid movement, and finishing methods to make bold, expressive pieces. Woodshop 101-Gain hands-on experience with woodworking tools while learning essential safety and construction skills. Students will complete a beginner project that builds confidence and practical DIY abilities. Shattered Glass Art-Turn broken glass into beautiful masterpieces. Participants will safely design and arrange colorful glass pieces on canvas or wood, creating sparkling, eye-catching artwork.
